Susanna has died and Conrad is in school and Jeremiah and Belly are going to help get Conrad back on track. He’s been struggling since Susanna died and went to the Cousin’s house to stay there for a while. Belly is trying to get over him (without much help from the not-helpful Taylor) but also wants to help Jeremiah convince him (Conrad) to return to his studies. Belly and Conrad did date for a while but broke up after her prom and before Susanna died. There was also a story with an infinity necklace that was cute, but you don’t find out the reason for it.
As it turns out, it’s not that easy. Belly has grown up and so have the boys, but they don’t want to leave their summer house behind. But, the boy’s (semi-jerk) of a father is selling the house, so how are they going to stop him?
All-in-all an ok read, but the depth of the characters that I was wanting just isn’t there.
